Capitola Junior Guard Parents Club
The Capitola Junior Lifeguard Parents Club is a non-profit organizaion founded in 1982 by a former group of Capitola Lifeguards and parents of Junior Lifeguards. The mission of the CJLPC is to assist the City of Capitola to preserve, complement, and enhance the Capitola Junior Lifeguard Program through fundraising, collage scholarships, JG program scholarships, public program awareness as well as event and equipment support.
When & Where do we meet?
The Capitola Junior Guards Parents Club meets the second Monday of each month from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the Jade Street location. The meetings are focused on planning and raising money for the various events and programs we support.
All parents of Capitola Junior Guards are welcome and encouraged to join the meetings.
Board of Directors & OfficersThe Board of Directors is an all-volunteer group of Junior Guard parents that participate in the planning and execution of the programs the parents club supports throughout the year. Becoming a board member is easy if you have a few hours each month to give to the program.
